Im not sure if that would work, but having a choice between each and every starter from gen 1 to gen 5 in the next game could be nice XD I imagine myself choosing between totodile, mudkip, turtwig and charmander XP

[QUOTE="Voltalic"]Oh, so if I battle illusio and lose I can challenege terrera afterwards? I dont mind losing, if that means I can battle the other castle and win there~ nintendofreak_2

Yup. The only time you will get penalized for losing is if one of your territories are being invaded. If you lose that battle, you lose the territory and potentially might be forced to send some warriors away. But in the main campaign you won't ever be invaded, so you won't have to worry about that.

Thats great, thank you =] I always tried again when I lost the battle, cause I didnt know that afterwards I will actually be able to battle the other castle XD thanks =]

I haven't played this game in a while but isn't there an option to quit?OreoMilkshake
Im not sure, but when I tried not to battle illusio and battle terrera instead I didnt have the 'battle' option, only info about the castle =\

There's no penatly if you lose a battle if you're the one invading. You don't get as much experience from the battle, but that's about it.

Hey guys, Ive been playing pokemon conquest for a while and got stuck XD I try to conquer illusio, the psychic type castle, but just cant handle this battle. The thing is, I read in a walkthrough that I could choose to conquer terrera instead, which seems to be the easier battle. but I already chose illusio and saved before the battle =\ so, my question is this- is there a way to challenge terrera instead of illusio, or do I have to start all over? If I will need to, I dont know if I will start again =\ Thanks a lot for any helpers =]

[QUOTE="Voltalic"]

Thanks a lot, for both the welcome and the help =] So if I decide to EV train my pokemon, its better to start from scratch and not doing it at lvl 100s, though its possible~ I really got connected to my team, so I think ill leave it as it is, but maybe jump straight to it at black\white 2 =] If I ever start over in white, though, ill try EV training fron the start =] I also play soulsilver, but I got my full team there as well XD So I guess ill just wait for a fresh start at some point and do it properly =] Thanks!moltenix

I don't really play online either and what I do is play through the game normally without caring about all those hidden statistics with a team I like.

After beating the main game, I start training up another set of Pokemon (some are often repeats of the Pokemon on my original team if I really like them) that are properly EV trained that I can use for the Battle Facilities. Ultimately, what happens is that my original team starts getting phased out and my EV trained Pokemon are the ones that get to lvl 100.

Thats a pretty good idea O0 It could seem like repeating the same process again, but at the end of it you get the same team, only a lot better and ready for the game challenges =] I think I might do it, sounds tempting to have the same team just stronger XD thanks =]

[QUOTE="Voltalic"]Hey guys =] Im new to gamespot, and I saw the pokemon thread as well as the EVs explanations~ I have pokemon white, which I got a team of lvl 100 in, but I never even considered doing EV or IV training I dont intend to play online, but I do like powering up my team for the in game stuff- battle subway, league and such =] so, my question is- should I bother to start doing EV training? is it possible in lvl 100s? If ill do it wrong, will it ruin the stats or any aspect of my lvl 100 pokemon? and I remind again, I dont play online (though it seems fun and challenging!) Thanks a lot =]Pixel-Perfect

Welcome to Gamespot. :D

EV training is almost a necessity for tackling the subway. IVs on the other hand are a bit too much trouble for the in game stuff. It's possible at level 100 though it is a pain. If I remember correctly (I'm only getting back into this stuff recently) the only way to apply EVs at level 100 is through vitamins and feathers. I would probably start from scratch, and I would make sure the Pokemon are properly natured. EVs can be removed with certain berries, so there's no pressure.

Thanks a lot, for both the welcome and the help =] So if I decide to EV train my pokemon, its better to start from scratch and not doing it at lvl 100s, though its possible~ I really got connected to my team, so I think ill leave it as it is, but maybe jump straight to it at black\white 2 =] If I ever start over in white, though, ill try EV training fron the start =] I also play soulsilver, but I got my full team there as well XD So I guess ill just wait for a fresh start at some point and do it properly =] Thanks!

Well, I did it a while ago and I can give you some advice =] first of all, He seems strong, but his attacks (blizzara, fira, thundara) wont do that much damge. so first, revive everyone you can and heal them. after that, you have to deal damage to him, and you are right- summons wont do the trick. I tried every character I had, and only Yang could damage him. So, this is what I did- revive everyone and then keep heal them, and attack only with Yang. you can defend with the rest. it may take some time, but before you know it- Golbez will be down, and you will even have a full life party =] hope this will help =]
