No you can not. Go enter any PC FPS and keep your characters aim facing the wall, run in a donut formation without touching the mouse. A controller could do this, with only one analog stick.

Halo 3 does have the sheen and polish of a next generation title all right, and the proof behind all this is the variety of environments that Bungie has actually managed to create in the game. The initial level begins in a dense forest, a la Fry Cry, maybe, but all the effects are real neat, the sun filtering through the trees looks gorgeous and the lush moss that grows around in the forest seems slithering right. The character models have also received a huge upgrade from the previous games, real time armor damage and Visor reflections seem to be the rule of the day> The animation of the N.P.C's and A.I looks soothing, particle effects are stirring enough. The trailer again was an older build of the game. Microsoft decided to give a real taste of the game to only a select few members of the media.

I wont even waste my time posting a link from KZ2 developers speaking abou the graphics , one image worths more than 1000 words , I encourage you to see the trailers on HD and consider my previously stated argument: KZ2 is currently on Pre alpha stage and its physics and textures outperforms H3's mastered ones.

I find this post to be damage control.

You've posted nothing but wild speculation, you have no reasons to back up what you say. Meanwhile I think I have elucidated my point.

Console FPS have better character movemant and thats a fact so there its a wash.

Bebi_vegeta

LOL what??? how is that a fact?

Its because you can run in a donut formation while keeping your aim in one direction on a console, which you can not do with the mouse keyboard combo. The four directions are the only places you can move when keeping the aim focused on one point using keyboard/mouse, while the controller lets you move in the 360 degrees.

I could never get the hang of PC FPS. The mouse always seemed a tad too sesitive and loose. Then if you turn down the sensitivity you mine as well just use a gamepad. Plus analog stick movement >>> wasd times a million! Also triggers >>> left click times a hundred million.dgroundwater

Actually the idea is to keep the sensitivity low and move your arm faster.

And now the question is whether Halo will also make RTS feel comfortable on the consoles?

Is your argument morphing? I thought this was about physics? How 'bout you watch the Kz2 trailers again? Note the one with that big boss guy and watch the frame rate chug. Or how about when the lightning strikes off in the distance?

I have 6 friends who bought Halo 2, I have 3 friends without a 360. If half of the people have not bought 360s yet that means 4mil 360s sold this holiday season right? See I can use conjecture too.
