External Hard drives cannot be used for saving games and downloads. I would love it if they did, because they are cheaper than the 360 hard drives. External hard drives/usb flash drives can be used for accessing music and photos though.
I agree that alot of the rpgs achievements are difficult. But if you are referring to Oblivion I have to disagree. Oblivion has easy acheivements compared to other rpgs for 360.
My second account has access to 'some' of my primary accounts DLC, but not all. Arcade games both accounts can access, but alot of the other DLC the secondary cannot access. I mean I could be wrong, it wouldnt hurt to try it. I'm fairly certain they take measures against sharing DLC in this manner.
You could download it onto your box via using his account, but you would'nt be able to use it on your primary account. It would be on your drive but only your friends tag could access it.
Agree with the above mentioned games but don't forget: Bully Scholarship Edition In some ways I thought it was as good or better than gtaiv.. the missions have more variety, and it is just as funny with the rockstar sense of humor. It is shorter though, you can get most of the game done in 22 hours.
Well for arcade games you can check out: majornelson.com Its the director of Xbox lives blog. He posts what games are coming out on monday of every week. For other games I just use this sites release schedule. (Gamespot.)
The ones that bother me the most are 'Gangsta,' 'Rap,' or 'Street life' related. Its pretty likely that they are some 11 year old overprivileged suburban dwelling white kid.
I think Away, busy, and Appear offline disable all pop-ups.
Im not 100% with the friends pop-up though, but im pretty sure they disable all pop-ups.

Actually just the 'Busy' setting disables notifications, not the 'Appear Offline' & 'Away' It would be nice to separate the friend and achievement pop ups, but it doesnt bother me that much.
