ps1 was a single core processor and saturn had dual processors and ps1 was easier to develop for that's why many multiplats were superior on ps1 than saturn. One very fast central processor would be preferable. I don't think all programmers have the ability to program two CPUs-most can only get about one-and-a-half times the speed you can get from one SH-2. Though my excitement was plentiful when the game was announced at E3 last year but at the back of my mind and I am sure to many it was disappointing to know it would not be as violent as the critically acclaimed Twisted Metal Black. I know it's the only one in the franchise to be darker but it just worked, now it's good to see the violence, gore and dark tones to return for the latest title.
