I paid 300 quid for my 80 gig PS3 which came with 2 free games. Multiply that by the exchange rate at the time then I paid $540. Which is not bad at all.

whats funny is that you guys take it sony can pull what ever they want in the UK and they seem to take it, there has never been enough pressure for them to change their policy in the UK. they provide better service when there is enough pressure. it works and will continue to work, maybe you guys in the UK should take note. i think all us american ps3 owners feel sorry for the way uk ps3 owners have been treated from the start. clarkportmanken

Sony have suffered for it . Not many people in the UK own ps3 the ones that do are mostly 'serious gamers' or people with money too burn , whereas xbox on the other hand have a massive amount of casual gamers.
