IMO, the PS2 version for CV was just done to keep in-touch with the PS fanbase of the Resident Evil series. The dreamcast showed its potential with CV.

CV on the Dreamcast is better than the PS2 version (despite the PS2 version having more extras and an extended, detailed ending)...the controls and feel of the dreamcast running the CV was overall much better.

Didn't like it.

Boring and repetitive. I stopped playing the demo after getting 15 mins into it.

Red Dead Redemption wasn't a terrible game. It was okay but it becomes repetitive and boring - especially online.

ME2? How the hell can anyone even say GOTY for that? That game sucked. I just played the demo for the PS3, I didn't even finish it.

So repetitive. Duck-Shoot-Duck-Cover-Shoot, CINEMATIC with an RPG element....repeat cycle.

Shenmue, Shenmue II, Power Stone (1 and 2), All the Resident Evils (especially Code Veronica which is actually my favourite dreamcast game and my favourite RE game of all of them), CAPCOM VS SNK MILLENIUM FIGHT 2000, STREET FIGHTER ALPHA 3, Sonic Adventure, Crazy Taxi, Dead or Alive 2.

The games are so much to list :P

The 3D area without a doubt.

The roots of the big title games like Resident Evil, Metal Gear Solid etc. O memories... and even more memories of playing NFS HOT PURSUIT and Shenmue.

I'm really "fumbly" about this topic because I don't want to insult peoples' interests and choices but as a gamer, I found that games this generation are boring compared to the previous generations.

I really don't know how to express this but games back in the PS2/DC/PSX/N64 and generations behind that had some sort of value and "kick" that would make you play for hours and hours, however, this generation does not have that "magic".

For instance, I popped in COD: Modern Warfare and World at War one day, and after 15-20 minutes, I got extremely bored. Am I the only one that feels like this?

For the PS3 gamers out there (actually, gamers in general), you all figured out that MASS EFFECT 2 is going to be released for the PS3 - thus with a demo released of it. I decided to try it out and see what's up - still no kick or "magic" from it. It's the same thing over and over again...cover -shoot - cover- shoot.

What do you guys think? You think gaming this generation could be improved on bringing in that kick or "magic" that the previous generations had? If so, how? What advice would you give to gaming companies to improve their games to become more replayable and less boring.

Once again, I hope I didn't offend anyone.

Sub-Zero without a doubt.

He was the first character I played as ever since entering gaming practically.

Back in those days when the N64 and PS1 were competing, I got the N64 (got the PS1 later) and my first game that i bought for that system was sub zero mythologies and may I note to you that I was six years old. A great game for a six year old eh? :P

But to wrap it up together, Sub Zero kicks ass, you can even tell physically that he is a force to be reckon with.

So I stand with Sub-Zero.

For those FIFAfans out there, you may have realized that EA announced the Ultimate team pack will be released on Nov 3rd.

My question is: Is it free? I've been seeing pages and pages from different websites saying it's free but i'm confused cause last year, it wasn't. It required like 5 bucks to buy the whole pack.
