Lol at people who dont even know why everyone doesn't like VG. Lol at everybody because we'd rather not have evidence than close measurements.

Metal Gear Solid 4: an overrated "stealth" game that is nothing more than an interactive movie with a boring plot, unlikeable characters and awful graphics. Miroku32
But the characters are likeable :(

The day i learned how to build a PC from Youtube and i experienced Pc gaming at its finest i never could turn my back on it. Its like cranking up your hot rod and taking it to your favorite race track... no other feeling out there. It's truly in its own ball field.

[QUOTE="tenaka2"]

[QUOTE="havokmaster"]

I've been a long time PC gamer, but I recently got a job as a Software Engineer, so when I finish work, the last thing I want to do is sit at a PC. I've just sold my desktop and I am planning on buying a TV and a current gen console.

I've played most of the big games this generation, including console exclusives on both 360 and PS3 as I previously had access to these consoles.

The obvious three choices:

  • PS3: Have played most of the big exclusive games on PS3, with the exception of Uncharted 3. Bluray playback is a plus.
  • 360: As with PS3, I have played most of the big exclusives, and am not really a fan of their flagship titles like Halo, Forza etc.
  • Wii: Haven't played a whole lot on Wii, and am interested in a handful of games, but seems like the platform is dead in the water at this point.

Basically, I want to know which is a better investment in terms of back catalogue, future prospects, and best third party experience. Only other gaming devices I own are a 3DS and a HTC One X. I'm personally leaning towards Wii or PS3.

Thanks,

-hvk

Software engineer finds PC's to much hassle.

Seems ligit.

No, when I sit at a desk using a PC for 12 hours a day, the last I want to do when I go home is sit at a PC to play games.

Isn't your phone a PC? Isn't what your doing right now on a PC? Isn't a console kinda a PC with less control?

Paying less money for games is never bad.

99% of all games released arent worth the 60 bucks you usually have to spend on them.

This and this. That guy is butthurt because Steam is doing balls to the walls While GOG is not. Steam has filled my library with many games and i have enjoyed every bit of them. If i wasn't satisfied i wouldn't check it everyday for sales and new stuff on the workshop.
