Quite occasionally listen to hip hop and rap. So any recommendations in these two major genres is greatly appreciated.

What hip hop in particular do you like?

I watched it last night. It was a great film, but the pacing kind of bothered me. The way it was filmed was kind of offbeat, too.

It seems like the type of movie I'll enjoy more thinking about than actually watching, if that makes sense.

They're my biggest guilty pleasure band :/

My sister used to drive me around and listen to them (I was 9), and they've been part of my life ever since. I only just got my own copy of 'Tell All Your Friends' for Christmas this year.

Take on Me - A-ha

Take on Me - Cap'n Jazz

Most people would probably disagree with me, but I like the Cap'n Jazz cover more than the original.

For finding music I like, I often turn to Jamendo. It's under maintenance atm, but I'm sure it'll be up in a bit.

Sure, all the bands are unkown, but they're some awesome music.

And yeah, Pandora/last.fm are great, too.
