The other day at work was thinking about how uneventful my life is, then I posed a question to myself:

If I could leave live in any other world from a movie, video game, book, or whatever what would it be?

The answer I came up with was the Mass Effect universe. Everything looks so clean and futuristic and I could explore the galaxy in a spaceship. :D

So my question to you is this: What universe would want to live in instead of our own?

Celldweller-Own Little World

I recently finished the last Fallout New Vegas DLC Lonesome Road.

It is definitely the best New Vegas add-on and worth the MSpoints. The story is well done and the area where it takes place, The Divide, is so destroyed it seems surreal.

The new weapons and armor that was added is nice as well. Something really interested me was the relation to the Government which reminded me of Fallout 3.

In other game related news Mass Effect 3 is gonna have a co-op mode. Can't say I'm excited for this, they should focus on making the single player experience the best it can be. This should have been saved for a spin-off game. Especially since the ME trilogy was supposed to be Shepard's story.

Disturbed-Divide

I've been busy so I haven't blogged in a while. Between college and work I haven't had a day off.

In game related news I got Gears 3. This is my first Gears game (thanks to the beta) previously I thought the game was too over-the-top.

Still I only got it for the multiplayer :D

Inhumanity-DMC meets Celldweller

Yep, today I started my semester at college.

I was going to write this while I was still there but I had to wait since the internet was glitchy.

I had Intro to Advertising and TV Production.

College was supposed to start last Thursday but it got delayed because of hurricane Irene and my college was used as an evac center.

In other happenings I've been playing APB Reloaded. Its so addictively frustrating. It would be fine if I didn't have framerate issues, stupid RAM.

The Ataris-Boys of Summer

Well, Hurricane Irene is mostly gone.

I stayed at my uncle's house overnight, sincethe storm was supposed to hit at 2:00am.

I lost at Monopoly. Only because my brother got $750 for a property worth only $75.

Anyway, the damages here aren't nearly as bad as the media played it up to be. They pretty much only made everyone panic. I did here the 11 people are dead :( but I'm dunno if that's in my area or not.

Scorpions-Rock You Like a Hurricane

Well, I live in New Jersey and thats where Hurricane Irene is supposed to hit this weekend. We are currently under a state of emergency.

I dunno what will happen but I may be out of contact for a while.

Anyways, on a more cheerful note I got into the Beta for APB Reloaded.

I'm really liking it although it does have its annoyances. If you pick the enforcers there isn't any easy way to make money outside of missions. There is also occasional lag when driving, although this might just be my computer.

That's what I just went through. My feet are killing me. Since I worked all weekend and I have to stand up the whole time.

To make matters worse, as you may have heard the Northeastern US has been hammered by constant rain since late Saturday, and I had to stand outside in it. Sometimes without and cover.

Anyway, enough complaining. It wasn't all bad, I got to see some cool bike crashes. Don't worry no one was hurt. (except for their pride lol). I even had to run out on track to help pick one up as more bikes were still coming... that was interesting.

In other news, I got Minecraft. It's pretty fun to try to eek out an existence while trying to avoid zombies that come out at night. Stay away from creepers if you ever get it.

Iron Maiden- Stranger in a Strange land

I haven't posted a blog in awhile so here we go.

Recently I noticed that the 1st Resident Evil live action movie was going to be on TV. Previously I thought it was stupid that they didn't follow the games more closely, but I ended up watching it out of boredom.

It wasn't that bad but you could technically replace Umbrella Corp with a generic company name and it would have been the same film.

That being said I went out and bought a DVD that contains both that film and Apocalypse. It was on clearance at Borders books; since its going out of business :(

I've been basically working and watching Seinfeld on demand.

Another thing is that on Halo Reach I got my character to how I wanted him to look. This actually happened about a month ago but Bungie never updated the site so I couldn't post the pic.

So Capcom is doing it again, I bought MvC3 day one and this is how I get repaid?

All I can say is that I hope this gets released as a DLC add-on, I'm not going to take a game I paid $60 for, get $15 back then pay $40 to get Ultimate edition.

In other news, I got Old World Blues for Fallout New Vegas. Its pretty cool so far exect for the LONG conversation at the beginning. (it was at least 15 minutes)

I also bought COLD's newest album Superfiction today. Its nice to hear new stuff from them again. Unfortunately, the bonus track Dream On (Aerosmith cover) is only available through iTunes and then only if you buy the full album. Ah well
