Get Carried Away

"Every year, twenty-something women come to New York in search of the two L's: Labels, and love. Twenty years ago, I was one of them." - Carrie Bradshaw.
That's how Sex and the City: The Movie starts. I was a huge fan of the show. I loved it. So, of course I wanted to see the movie the day it opened, on May 30, 2008. I was extremely excited when the teaser was released on December 6, 2007. The theatrical was then released on February 22, 2008, exactly four years after the series ended. The tagline, of course, was "Get Carried Away."
The movie was awesome. Samantha was hilarious as always. Of course, Carrie and Big had a happy ending, despite him leaving her at the altar. Charlotte, of course, miraculously gets pregnant, and Miranda learns that Steve cheated on her. Between the hilarious comedic antics of Samantha and all the nudity (especially male), I'd rate this movie a 10/10.
Did you know that when they were going to make the movie a few years ago, that it was supposed to be immediately after the series? Charlotte was supposed to fly to China to get her baby and discover she was pregnant. Sound familiar? That's because The King Of Queens did it in their May 14, 2007 series finale. Another awesome show.
