My Monologue

Blog 470.
So, I wrote my own monologue for my High Tech audition tomorrow. I just have to call or email to schedule the appointment. It is for a chance to be cast in their Spring 2010 drama play. I don't think there will be so many boys. My monologue isn't really too dramatic though. I can perform it with emotion though. I memorized most of it, and I'm going to study it more. Here it is.
Every beginning in life has its ending. Will we forsee it? Will we understand it? The answer: no. We can't see it coming. We can't control it. What do we do? Do we just wait for it to come and see what happens? Are we helpless to fate? Endings are inevitable. Nothing can last forever, not even the most precious things. Do happy endings truly exist, or are they all just tearful farewells? What do we do while we wait? Will it change everything forever? Will I be around to see it? We can never know. So what are we to do? We should cherish every moment, and prepare ourselves for when that ending comes. Because when it does, there's no going back. It'll all be over in an instant. So appreciate everything you have now. It might all be gone tomorrow.
The ending to the Grey's Anatomy finale inspired me a little. Hehe. Anyway, I have to perform that. I just have to go make my appointment now.

Summer 2009 is here! I remember things from August so vividly and now it's just like my entire 8th grade year passed during that time. (September 3, 2008 - June 6, 2009).
I don't know if I can make that High Tech audition on Wednesday. I may not be feeling better. =( Summer is starting out sucky and graduation hasn't hit me yet. It'll all get better though when I'm healthier and out every single day. :)
I had a party at my house yesterday for graduation. 18 people were here, I believe. There was food catered, but I only ate the Penne with Vodka sauce. :) I had a 102.3 fever last night so I rested for a little while, then went online. Eh. I had to drink Honey Tea with Lemon today. I'd rather get a Pennicilin shot shoved up my ***.

Class Of 2009

Yesterday was my Class of 2009 graduation ceremony from the eighth grade. I almost cried six times. My eyes got watery, but tears never left my eyes. I got an Honor pin. I saw my teacher wipe a tear when she was sitting on the altar, so I got upset. Then when we distributed roses to our mothers, Jazmine was crying so I almost started. Then my principal read a speech first, and I nearly cried. Then during my teacher's speech I almost cried. After the ceremony, we were all outside hugging each other, and my friend Jade was crying, so I almost did. Then my cousin Amanda, who is like a sister to me, said how proud she was and everything. That really got my eyes watery. Then we were all taking pictures and had to be at the after party for about an hour and a half later, at 1:00. The cab came at about 12:06, and the Indian cab driver didn't know how to get there, with a GPS. The address was 26 Route 17 S, and he put in 26 Highway 17. Not route, or South. We went north on Rt. 17... We told him he was going the wrong way and he said, "No, no, my friend. The GPS tell me go right!" I was exhausted and having a real Bipolar moment. At the party, all the drinks tasted like alcohol. I wasn't hungry, and I was tired. So, since I had four drinks that tasted like alcohol (Water, Shirley Temple, Ginger Ale, and a few Pepsi's), I couldn't focus and thought that maybe it was something similar to alcohol poisoning. I felt terrible with the headache, my throat, I couldn't focus, and the loud music was playing and the colored lights were everywhere, I had no appetite, my friends were begging me to dance and I never do (until they made me do one where you jump after they took my phone), and I was tired and bored. Plus I kept thinking, "How many of these people will I really see after today? In September?" So I nearly fell asleep in the car back, and came home to a 103.5 fever. I didn't want to go to the ER because i was tired, so I rushed to bed. I was woken up every few minutes to take my temperature, Motrin, and the medication they gave me. I slept on and off from 6:00 last night to 11:00 this morning. I had a party with my family today. It was amazing. :)
Well I am no longer a 2009 Cardinal, but I will be a 2013 Lasercat upon my September entrance into High Tech. :) I got so many presents for graduation so far. Plus, I'm getting an iTouch this week and I'm going to have to download songs from Limewire or somewhere free. I have BearShare but I have no clue if the songs are free. I think only some are. I don't know.
Anyway that's all for today. Graduation didn't really hit me yet. I just feel so weird. It's like, after 10 years, it's all over. It ended so quick. An hour long ceremony. I'll still see so many people during the summer and on, though. I just have so many friends now that I'm afraid I'll lose contact with some. I already know about 15 people in High Tech... Only 10 of which are in my cla$$. The rest are either older or going to AACT, which is in High Tech, but different courses.

It was a pretty good movie. The songs were good, too. I might buy it.

Baccalureate

Today was the Baccalureate Mass for my 8th grade cla$$. It's typically held the day before graduation in Catholic schools. As you all know, my 8th grade graduation is tomorrow. It's really sad though. My best friend Jazmine is moving to another city which isn't that far away but it's in another county and I won't really get to see her a lot, if I even get to. I cried for like half an hour last night. :(
So yeah. Today was sad. It was my last day of middle school ever. I also got my report card. I'll post my grades later. I know I'm getting an Honors pin tomorrow because my final averages were all straight A's. I think there's another one I'm going to get, too. But I'm curious as to who is getting the General Excellence Awards in my cla$$. It's a tie between three people, but there's only two awards. The other one I think I'll get is supposed to be about being aware of your environment or some crap like that. I know where the hell I've been walking to for 10 years so I qualify.

Graduation: Tomorrow.
Halloween 2: 84 days.
