@milk: "Can be beaten" doesn't mean that you can't do more over that time. Skyrim's story record currently sit on a bit over 45 min.
And about Gone Home... That's more a interactive story than a game. I think even the creator said that. I also agree that the price is a bit hi for it.

@blindbsnake: No it didn't: Then that's totally on you, not the company itself (as questionable as their policies in games are) This has nothing to do with big pictures; you know how EA are, you know they own Bioware, yet you got ME3, you got disappointed and you blame a corporation over a game you dislike/s poor choice you made (one of the other)
It happens, but acceptance and letting go is better.
