@mjorh@Popa2caps: With exactly the same hardware you don't get the same performance on a console that you do on a PC. A one-to-one comparison like the one is this article is a falacy . What matter is an equivalent performance, and for that you are going to need to throw in a few extra bucks here and there.
(Not going to talk about the 470's 4K capabilities since I tend to buy Nvidia always. But I'll trust your word there)

For example, Let's not forget how the X360 was running games like Far Cry 3 or Skyrim with just 512 RAM

I'm surprised this kind of tests are still being done. A console is build for games so it can run stuff with less the power than a multi-purpose machine like a PC needs.
