@g0ldenpr0pet Getting both. Got the XOne first due to availability in stock. So there you go, my grain on salt. For a lot of people is just because of past game policies that made the 360 a machine with a good library, you create loyalty with that and it's a fair decision. And, of course, you ahve the fanboys with a misguided loyalty and/or a superiority complex, but that's only coming from the immature people, so nevermind then.

I rather have those 60 but... you are kind right, strong fluctuations are not good since the become noticeable.
Things like Dead Rising 3, for example. When you have all those zombies on screen and something explodes you can see framerate drop from 30 to 25... for that second only. That is a good way of doing stuff.
But bottonline: In a game in which quick reactions are not as important as enjoying the view in the trip, 1080p has priority. 60fps are more important in fighting games or competitive FPS (IMO)
