@jdc6305 Agreed 100%. Do something right or don't do it at all. Also, the fact that you "can" do something doesn't mean you "have" to.

@sam628 You just compared a FPS with an exploration game focused in the storytelling?

@TohouAsura I think, considering this is their website, that they can write whatever they want. You don't like it? just skip the post and don't click on it.

"it would make alot more sense to play a man in a war game. That is, if you're aiming for realistic depictions."

They have been women on the army for more than a decade already. Maybe you didn't knew, but that is the case in a big number of the armies in the world (USA, Germany, Spain, UK, Japan, to menction some on top of my head)

"Don't know about Aliens case"

Makes sense in this case; Alien's lore was neutral when it comes to genres.

"ignoring this information just to satisfy your need for self-importance, is sheer juvenile stupidity."

Not as much "juvenile stupidity" as entering to a post about a topic you don't like just to insult a person showing her opinion. So, you seem to see yourself in the right of throwing a cheap critic, even to insult somebody, but (again, according to you) that person does not have the right to write about something that actually affects her in her own way (which, btw, you have no right to judge)?

Really dude...

@dah_master True. But those polished light affects and water are indeed a welcome sight. Not to mention the particle system you can see in the Watchdogs trailer...

@freefadi7 "Equality" means "Justice" in this context, just so you know...

@SaudiFury Femshep is an exception (nice the way you pointed it, btw) Guided by her military condition. Mass Effect is a lore with no discrimination in genre (or sometimes shaded by certain species xenophobia) In that case it's understandable that their reactions are almost the same.

And yeah, the thing goes exactly that way: Those "women acting like men" are found in product which have the young hetero man demography we all know. Guess those guys want fantasies and not a real woman in most of cases.

Mine was just a personal opinion, since I rather have a real woman (The new Lara Croft, Anya from GoW) than the "artificial" kind (Revy from the anime "Black Lagoon", girls in most of fighting games or most of hollywood movies).

Nonetheless, thanks for your intelligent point of view. Glad to finally read something elavorate in gamespot's comments.
