People has that need of comparing a game with another, to each it's own but I really this it's boring.
But what I really find useles is that "gamespot, why a 7.5, this game should have a 8.5 or 9" (that way, without explanation). Is a stupid number going to prevent you from enjoying the game? is it going to prevent you from sleeping tonight? You don't like the number? then go to another website, but unless you are a professional reviewer at least EXPLAIN why the score is wrong.
Releasing a game the same time as a big hit it's almost a commercial suicide. Like EA releasing "Need for Speed World" the same Day Starcraft 2 was released.Or more recent: Sonic 4 part II the same day Diablo III hits the streets.
Don't understand that kind of marketing, honestly...
@mmidnigh I love Gears, but I admit that it was that game the one that made me activate the option of block communications to everyone who is not on my friendlist.
And about his opinion; I have a motto for that; "His freedom of saying what he wants is as big as my freedom of not listening to what he says"
@Siddysss And that is why the have the market saturated with JRPG's that take you more than 150 hours to complete 100%.Don't generalize, It's more Western business work to release the same FPS or soccer game each year at 60-70 $/€, and charge you 20 for 2-3 maps a couple of times between one game and another...
@Talavaj Also, use your head and read the previous comment:" the moment GAME entered administration, effectively going bust, those original preorders, and the money used to pay for them, was lost. Gone forever. This move is Blizzard, who didn't get a cent from the original lost payments, offering those affected a free, second copy."If you knew a little bit about the videogames industry IN GENERAL you would know that games are distributed to shops ON CREDIT. Tell me know who is the stupid at the end.
To be hones, it does not matter how amazing the game was going to be and does not matter if the game were released perfect without disconnections or this bug.
Most of the people posting here (along with those spamming 0's at metacritic) already decided months ago that they would hate the game no matter what, don't want to know how sad their life must be... congratulations on being original.
