I dont know a lot about music and stuff but heres what im trying to do:

i converted a mp3 into AC3 format because i heard AC3 is surround sound. Im trying to play some music with surround sound on my ps3+surround sound system. But i dont know why mp3's show up on my ps3 but AC3 does not. Could someone tell me how or why?

or if you could give me an alternative to play surround sound music on my ps3.?

p.s my firmware on ps3 is not 2.0 yet. its 1.9 something.

Went to some shop the other day .. and the guy said that there is an amazing ps3 game which you play with glasses or goggles... he didnt remember the name... nor did he know if it was out yet.

Which game could he be talking about?

1. Can you transfer songs from your computer to the ps3 harddrive ?

2. If yes then can i play them while playing a game ?

I just put a demo on download. its eating all my bandwidth and i want to pause it. can i do that ? or how can i cancel downloading the demo?  when its downloading it slows down net browsing etc. please help.

Didnt work for me

i asked the same question before and they said no but yes you can with this i found it www.qj.net but never tried it

1)Open Mozilla Firefox
2)In the Address Bar, type: about:config
3)Right click on the table, then click "New"
4)Then choose "String" and type: general.useragent.override
5)Click Ok, then type: Mozilla/5.0 (PLAYSTATION 3; 1.00)
6)Close the tab, open a new window and go to: https://account.np.ac.playstation.net/login.gvm
Regarding your downloaded stuff like demos, you can always transfer them to your console anyway.
