Seriously, WTF gave bungie the idea to turn halo2 into a linear run of the mill shooter. Same thing with halo3. I remember playing halo in 2001 and thinking that was the best FPS I've ever played, or for that matter, will ever play. The game, save for a few repetive levels, was perfect, and should be considered one of the greatest games of all time. Halo2 and 3 however, my god, horrible. I was ready to snap when I played though halo3 a couple months ago, and the ending made me want to slap an orphan. Talk about a serious downgrade in quality from halo all the way down to halo3. And now they want to charge ten bucks for 3 new maps this soon after launch? C'mon, your maps that first shipped with the game were bad enough (by far the worst in the series) now you *****bags want more of my money? psshhhhhhh

could not agree more, Halo 1 was one of the top FPS games i played ... the levels were huge, item/enemy placement were good,

and it just went down hillfrom halo 2 to 3

Watson yet agian makes a fool out of himself. Yes Gears of War requires a Xbox live account which means to play it on line you pay. Also the PS3 online is free as well and there is a patch coming to support higher player counts not to mention cod4 with 55 players absoutley sucks.

Um im pretty sure you need the gold account to play ranked matches but as i said before the PS3 online is free as well the only system that makes you pay for online is the 360 and the 360 doesnt represent all consoles so as usualy you have no case . Anyways go play cod4 with 55 players and enjoy the respawn kill.

Lets see I can still play halo 2 right now, I can still play ALOT of games over xbox live 3-4 years after, Most of the time ON pc only the biggest and best games stay popular and even then their population Drops dramatically after a few years, because every 1-2 years the better next great FPS is released.

I don't have Xbox Live. And last time I checked, I don't need 360 internet service(i don't think 360 even has it). That's what my computer is for
