good luck with P2P also it takes like 5min to actually find a match when theres not a lot of people playing, halo 3 however is a lot faster b/c more ppl playing

Wow. Just wow.

I've been playing TF2 on my laptop on the lowest settings at 1400x900 for a while now. All I have is AA turned on so that the textures are smooth, though in bigger matches I turn it off.

Recently got The Orange Box, just played TF2 on it. This is SO messed up, I just can't believe it. The game is running at 600p max (I'm on a 1080p 42" set), the upscaling is no good and the jaggies are juuuust horrible. More than that, the game is around 3 patches behind the PC version, and I've had serious trouble finding a server that doesn't lag.

It's just one of those experiences that should be left to the PC.

I'm really curious on how UT3 turns out to be.

Where as if you own a PS3/360/PC you're getting alot of those titles 3 times over and none of the Wii exclusives like No More Heroes, Dragon Quest, Metroid, Zelda, Mario, Pikmin.

Not really. A good monitor is $150 (which shouldn't be counted because you do not factor in a TV in the cost of consoles. A good M&K will run you $50. Hardcore gamer doesn't mean you hav to have a $2000 dollar rig. I am a hardcore gamer and I have invested only $800 dollars into my rig in the last 3 years, and it will destroy any ps3/xbox 360 game thrown at it.

yeah that and wait for killer deals like frys had in black friday when Q6600+ECS motherboard(motherboard doesnt matter if u dont overclock) was $199 i think ... andbe smart about what u buy such as getting HD3870 or 8800GT
