[QUOTE="WeAreBorn"]No one mentions Wii in console wars, the true war is between PS3 and Xbox 360, and it does not change the fact that PS2 and PS1 owned nintendo's two previuous consoles badly.

Because its already over. Neither of them is going to outsell the Wii. But since they are so similar it is an interesting discussion between the two. Hence why there is a sticky up there for PS3 vs 360 games lineup.

[QUOTE="WeAreBorn"][QUOTE="Brainkiller05"]I haven't used it for a LONG time, but who cares if it's just a fad? Either way Nintendo still win in sales.Brainkiller05
This generation, yes. Last generation, Nintendo was owned badly by Sony.
Fantastic, but how is that relevant to anything? If it is a fad, it's still sold the most. If it isn't a fat, it's still sold the most. If 60% stopped playing after a month, it's still sold the most. If some people still play the console avidly, it's still sold the most. and just so you know Wii is currently selling at twice the speed of the PS2, not like it matters but It seems it's going to beat the PS2 in sales at some point. No one mentions Wii in console wars, the true war is between PS3 and Xbox 360, and it does not change the fact that PS2 and PS1 owned nintendo's two previuous consoles badly.

[QUOTE="pielover666"][QUOTE="thrones"]6 million+ people bought Super Mario Galaxy.[QUOTE="110million"]To the fanbase, in which the majority bought it for Wii-sports, I don't think it would break even a million, or 300,000. Not saying there aren't hardcore gamers, but they are certainly few in comparison.Tony-Harrison

Everyone knows who Mario is, even non-gamers. Barely anyone who isn't a gamer has a clue about Diablo.Every gamer knows Diablo. 300,000 my ass.
No, every gamer does not know what Diablo is. And Mario is 100 times bigger than diablo.
[QUOTE="The_Goat_Azz"]4. Brawl isnt popular anymore and meele is dead.
Planeforger
Actually, Brawl was just revived with it's European and Australian release two weeks ago.
By what, selling 400,000 copies in one week in Europe? lol
are we still on this? people were saying this when it was launched and that its saled would soon drop. were almost 2 years into the wiis lifecycle now and theres no sign of sales dropping. It juts like the people who said blu ray would be a fad but yet PS3 sales are only growing strongerineedmoney555
