I've killed a couple pregnant wolf spiders(which are pretty harmless btw), and had so many little spiders come out of it  I've had to deal with so many wolf spiders they don't really scare me much anymore.

I like spiders. And where I live there aren't many big spiders. If I had to pick one spider to be afraid of it would be the Sydney Funnel Web.

Most spiders are very shy and will only bite when they feel cornered. (Like the black widow) The Sydney Funnel Web is very aggressive and territorial. They'll also bite you repeatedly.

Got_to_go

I think remember hearing on animal planet that those spiders can bite through your toenail D:

I watch professional Starcraft matches, but more to see if I can pick up some tips, not necessarily because I actually care about the players.

Although I do enjoy watching IdrA get defeated.

GabuEx

Yes, I do enjoy me some IdrAge :P

I recommend day9 to you, he is a good caster and you can learn a lot from his daily's.

What race do you main? I am a protoss player, just like in BW.

I mainly play as Terran. Of the other two, I can do a passable Protoss in a pinch (well, in Brood War I could; haven't gotten familiar with the ins and outs of the new stuff in Starcraft 2), but I just can't play as Zerg at all.

Does day9 have a YouTube channel?

Yes, and I actually meant to link it but I forgot :P

Still had it copied

I only know what you're talking about thanks to Brad Shoemaker of Giant Bomb. He's been in a Starcraft stupor ever since it came out. The first one I mean. Now he just feels like he can actually talk about it out loud again since there's a new game. It's like a decade of pent up conversation is finally spewing out and it's taking WEEKS for it all to come out.

Aha, I have never seen any other game stay popular as long as BW has. a lot of people probably don't know, but BW stayed a lot more active on ICCUP which has it's own ladder and tourneys etc, and up until sc2's release had quite a bit of players. I started playing on it maybe a year or so ago and there was plenty of people to play with, active forums, and even mentors to help you get better. Kinda makes me sad sc2 is probably gonna take a lot of it's players, but it's a good game and had to happen eventually.

Even the almighty quake doesn't stay quite as long lastingly active as Starcraft :P

Why would you want to play tf2 on a console anyways? I'm not a big fan of console shooters anyways, but TF2 is a game that really doesn't belong imo.

Also, just because it is very heavy on artstyle, rather than realistic graphics... doesn't mean the Wii can handle it. Not even close. If you saw tf2 on good settings I think you would understand, it is a very good looking game

Yeah, I live in Florida and there are a lot of five guys here. Their business is booming so they will probably be expanding all over the east coast soon.

I bought this one for 30 bucks. I can attest that yes it is a fightstick and yes it does work. Seems I got a good deal though.snowman6251
I got this one, for about 40. I think I got a good deal as well and from reviews I have read, it is easily moddable to make even better.

I mostly got it because of 3rd strike... awesome game

I dont know how can somebody stomach killing a human life

johnlennon28

terrorists - pull their beard off, crucify them in public for days, then life sentence in jail

burglars - beat em up with a bat then cut their hands

johnlennon28

Sometimes I feel a bit left out as a PC gamer... everyone argues over the consoles, and talks about their good games and ignore the PC :(

IMO, the Wii is the only console that can compete with it, because it doesn't try to be like it... it's something new, and has a lot of unique games that can't be done easily on a PC. the others seam to be evolving to be more, and more like the PC instead of it's own original system

In a market dominated by FPS games, realistic graphics, and online play... doesn't make sense that PC is a bit overlooked, when I find it to be the best at each of those. But maybe I am just weird, and am misinformed to what people REALLY want from their gaming.

JordanElek

The PC is obviously better for a lot of games, but it requires more work and more money. You have to be at least somewhat computer savvy to get games running well, and it's expensive to keep up with the hardware trends. With a console, you know exactly what you're getting and the games are pretty much guaranteed to work as intended with zero knowhow on the user end.

Those are my reasons for not being a PC gamer, at least, and I AM a little computer savvy. I just like the ease of consoles. You don't have to mess with anything. And I like playing on a TV much more than at a desk.

That is a good point, though it's not like you get just a gaming console. You get a whole lot more, but you need to know your stuff to get it at the right price. And most games aren't hard to run at all, cause of the different settings it gives you.

don't get me wrong, I don't want the other consoles to die and everyone go to the PC. I just think it deserves more attention than people give it, and other consoles need to be more original(which the Wii accels at)
