I am wery experienced on multyplayer FPS games.I was in the top 100 snipers in BF:BC before , but i stoped playing it.I know that SOCOM is a very diffrent game , but still ...

I first play the game normally , then playtrough for the trophies , it gives me the feeling that i done everything i can in the game so i can move on another one.

Well, 360 gets all the best looking PC games, like Alan Wake, Mass Effect (that is a 360 game actually), KUF2, Two Worlds Temptation and its own stunnign looking games like Fable 2 which looks better than any PC RPG !!!! by some miles and Gears 2

I do not see anything ... outdated about 360, when it gets some of the very best looking games in 2008 and 2009, and all the best looking PC games (bar Crysis)

I have both games , and they are both very long so its hard to chose . When you are finished whit Fallout 3 , you can replay it many times, because the game has many choises ... If you do all the side quests , main quest , peak in every bush and under every rock , a single playtrough will last around 50 - 60 hours ... And you can play as Good , neutral , evil charachter , then many , many diffrent types of playstyle ( you want to sneak and kill mele somebody in the back ? want to be a sniper ? scientist ? thief ? you can be everything here)

Resistance 2 has a fairly short single player game , it won't last longer than 7 - 8 hours ( i passed it in like 6 ) , but it has a huge co-op multyplayer whit 3 diffrent ****s , and 60 man competitive battles.

If i had to chose again between this two , i don't know what i would take ... probably Fallout 3 ...

I have the game , and my neighbour has it , and we didn't had a single freeze all playtrough ( and i played it atleast 60 - 70 hours ). So it must be something whit your PS3 , not the game.
