LOL this is just sad. The fact that 3DS is doing better than the Vita proves that Sony doesn't even know how to handletheir own handhelds (pun not intended). Remember when people thought Vita would be the downfall of 3DS? Funny how they bought a Vita and got screwed over in the end. That's what happens when you trust a bad corporate company like Sony.

I'd never buy an Uncharted racing game. All I want from Naughty Dog is The Last of Us, and then Uncharted 4 PS4 launch title.

It will be a generation behind next gen. Even if the GPU is really good, it has to render the image on 2 screens, and no doubt Nintendo's Wara Wara OS uses lots of power. I don't expect anything great from Nintendo other than HD ports/first party games.

Yep, that's one of the many errors that led to PS3 being last place in sales. I don't mind the lack of sales since it doesn't affect me, I'm just happy there are plenty of quality games to play.

The Xbox 360 was much more successful than the original xbox though.

It seems like the market is changing, there's less emphasis on quality games and more emphasis on peripherals and graphics.

It is more successful because of the way MS set themselves up with the original xbox. Sony was being very conservative with the ps2, while ms was revolutionizing the home console. Gamers took notice and it paid off next gen. This is why Sony is currently in a better position--because they are putting the effort into game development. It may not be bringing them the income that perhaps Kinect is for MS, but it is earning respect from consumers for the next generation.

It's not looking that way though, I'd like that to be true, but I don't think the average gamer would really go with Playstation over Kinect or Wii. This is just from my personal experience with other gamers though, I still think Wii U will be the greatest. Nintendo hasn't done themselves any favors with the Wii regarding next gen, they're not really in a good position with the "hardcore gamers".
