@wkadalie: It's only for war zone. The classic arena(where all the "skilled" players will play) will not allow any calling in or using anything outside the map except weapon skins. But if you're that worried about encountering a player calling in a sniper rifle or tank(like a casual would..hmmm), you should probably just git gud.
It's not like they temporarily suspend you if you quit one or two times. So no big deal if something comes up in life. And if you have bad connection, you should not be be online anyways and ruin everyone else's experience. But this will get people who are sore losers or rage quitters and quit a lot. I like this and the rank decrease was in on halo 3 and was fine by me.
As great as forge was and what it seems to be, the no split screen does kill this portion of the game a little bit. It doesn't affect me anymore but couch custom games were the s***. I hope customs online become a thing again. I want random invites to custom lobbies and play ice cream man, jenga, mongoose races, and whatever new thing people can come up with!
