I first bought the other console in may and my first experience with it was a big scratch on my gears of war disc I ended up going back to wal-mart raplacing it with an elite w/ no games and spent $520. then 5 months later I bought a 60GB PS3 $399 I could of saved me alot of money!
I played R6V and it took forever to get far on the 360 but it was so much easier on the PS3 and I actualy beat it in about 2 weeks while I own the 360 version for almost 2 months. I am not sure if the controller is to blame though:lol:
I could careless if mass effect gets a better rating then uncharted. I own an xbox 360 and gears of war was the only game i had fun playing online I owned everything else my last game was Halo 3 after that I got a PS3 because I realize every xbox 360 game I own were Shooters.
I am sure mass effect will get good ratings as almost every shooter on the 360 does. If I ever need a FPS game UT3 on the ps3 should be released sometime december but that is all I need not a bunch of the same old stuff.
I got the 60GB for $445 with R6V and a movie but the 40GB sounds like a good deal mainly because it has 65nm produces less heat and helps reduce the PS3 very low failure rate even lower. The new 40 GB model consumes about 100 watts less! then the original and also the noise level is 30dB compared to 36dB from previous model. To me I hardly ever use BC but when I did it doesn't look very good on my 720p HDTV
