I've got the original US-launch 60GB PS3. It's a PS3, a PS2, a PS1, a Blu-Ray player, and an all-in-one multimedia hub for pictures, music, and video - what's not to love? Once a get an HDTV and a digital camera, I'll have even more uses for my PS3than just playing all my PS1/PS2/PS3 games, which is basically the only thing I'm using it for right now.

For some reason, Sony has been acting as if they had a commanding lead in this generation of gaming consoles, when in reality, they are last. Sony needs to show more of a sense of urgency and passion like they did with the PS2. Enough of this 10 year plan crap - we get it - you have the most potential and upside, but that means **** in the present. Quit acting like you've accomplished something, be humble, and start acting like you should be - you're in last place in the console race, damnit, now show some me hustle!

Also, some RPGs would be nice. :P

I own both a 360 and a PS3, which I bought simply to play MGS4, and personally I love the thing. I don't have too many games for it just yet (MGS4, SCIV, and the Force Unleashed) but I love it. It is a VERY functional machine. The features are very easy to use, and we all know the thing is a graphics power house. I just can't wait to get a HDTV to use blu ray lulz.

Hey The_Dark_Jester is the online laggy in the beta and how busy are the survers?

I'm not Dark Jester, but the online is not too bad in terms of lag, when you initially start a level online, while other players are playing, it may seem like there is lag but its actually a fast forwarded synopsis of what the people have been doing in the level before you arrived, but there is sometimes some lag when you initially start the level and come out of that circle save point thing. otherwise the servers and online are fine, and i'm being really picky about that lag, like its barely even noticable, but I know there are some people out there that are super sensitive to it.

and to answer your original expectations, the creating aspect of the game blew me away at how easy it actually is.
