[QUOTE="Wii60always"] Oh my goodness, most of you don't know squat about Grossman or the Bears.
Apparently I thought everyone outside of Chicago fans knew that you need an O-LINE to do anything with the ball. The O-Line had a fluke season in 2006 and in 2007 it showed how horrible and aged it was. What happened when the Patriots' O-Line collapsed in the Super Bowl? Oh yeah, THEY LOST. And Tom Brady wasn't able to put up spectacular numbers either with less than 3 seconds to react. If you cannot protect against a pass rush, then you won't be able to do much.
And I also believe Grossman is a changed man. In 2007 after being benched three games into the season and then given the starting job again, he posted up one 100+ QB rating game, two 80 QB rating games, and only one below 50, and that was when he was injured. He's been humble about his situation and never complained when most crybaby quarterbacks would complain about so and so. He's also been working out at Halas Hall. So, I'll give him one more chance, and you should too.

I said a lot of what you said. How are you supposed to have a good air attack if your ground attack cant get you into third in short situations??? It almost always comes back to the O-line. Since our O-line sucked we could really get a decent runnig game in. So they knew when we were throwing most of the time. So that doesnt help.
Basically. You have a good point about Ron Turner and his stupidity. He's proven that we can't win with him. See: Super Bowl XLI.
But yeah, the reasons why we sucked last year:
1) Horrible O-Line
2) Ron Turner
3) Unstability from the QB position
4) Lack of running game
5) Injuries to defense
6) Inconsistency
