Those are just more scripted trailers to make the game look like a hack and slash action game, but its still an old school point and click.

Some of the kill animations are scripted but it shows mostly real gameplay. will be amazing on 360

Ireccomend you read the update at the end of the article. The folks at thesixthaxis.com even state that theyre a little site with a nice jumpand some of the stuff people are saying arent realistic (and the stuff theyre saying are exactly what we are all saying here). I think their saying you shouldnt get your hopes up for a GeOW etc. but it will be a title that they THINK everyone will be interested in.

Personally, I hope it is a bombshell announcement and the PS3 fans get to play ME, GeOW3or maybe even L4D. SO4 wouldnt be a bad thing either.

the game will be one of the greatest, if not the greatest, game ever, but i have a nagging feeling that gamespot is going to rob it of the score it deserves to try and prevent nathan drake from taking his place among videogame royalty. i know that hideo's crown jewel got a perfect ten here but i'm kind of paranoid that gamespot put that score out as a decoy to hide the fact that there are still enemies of sony and the Sony PlayStation 3 lurking within. i'm not trying to single out gamespot though. all the review outlets are capable of treachery, because every great person or product has its legions of haters. that's just the way it is. but can one of you put my mind at ease? youtellthemkaz8

I would have to go with story. Great graphics are good but they wont keep you playing over and over again. Great gameplay is also good, but after a while that gameplay could get repetitive. A great story with character driven sequences, emotion and a drive to get to the end keeps you on the edge of your seat and forces you to continue playing so you can see how it unfolds. And if the story is truly amazing, you may just want to play it again so you can relive the experiance.

This is going to be Infamous vs Prototype all over again.

360 owners will argue that Dante's Inferno is going to be the better game and claim the 360 will be the much better version and PS3 owners will argue that they don't care which one is better because they can play them both.

I was just curious about who the winner was for the weapon contest, but then I found that the winner hasnt been selected, and there are 5 finalists. I looked over the 5 weapons and they all seem pretty interesting and unique. What are your thoughts on the following weapons, and which one do you want to see win:

Plasma Sprinkler Glove: The glove is used to throw a grenade shaped item, which then turns into a sprinkler that fires plasma.

Spiral of Death: The weapon works by charging up energy and then releasing it in a spiral around the user, this energy then sends enemies flying, causing damage in the process

Bubble Shot: The Bubble Shot fires corrosive bubbles. Smaller bubbles that move quickly can be created using small amounts ofammo or larger, slower moving bubbles can be made which use up more ammo and cause much more damage.

Qwark Machine: The weapon is actually a glove that the user wears, it can fire small balls that release small Qwarks. Theweapon has an upgrade system, with level one using a blaster, level two burping gas, level three choking enemies and using bare hands and level four eating the enemy

Super Sized Sticky Hand Toy: The Super-Sized Sticky Hand Toy is to slap enemies, or if used in a different mode it can wrap around the enemy allowing the user to throw the enemy around, using the SIXAXIS motion sensitive controller

I highly doubt it, but it would be great to see Ratchet and Clank Future: A Crack in Time added to that list. Insomniac knows how to pump out great games, and they do it on a consistent basis with 4 high quality and outstandingPS3 games released in 4 years, when it takes some PS3 developers almosthalf a decade to release a high qualitygame (HELLO KILLZONE 2)and this game is shaping up to be a great conclusion to the Ratchet and Clank Future Trilogy. I know it has a low chance of winning, but it should be nominated, it has the potential.

Other games that I believe will be nominated are Splinter Cell: Conviction, Brutal Legend, Scribblenaughts, Uncharted 2, Modern Warfare 2, MAYBE InFamous and MAYBE Halo: ODST if it turns out to be longer then just an expansion and adds something to the Halo universe that we havent seen yet

Personally my three favourite are:

Insomniac: The Ratchet and Clank franchise is one of my favourite franchises out there and Resistance is a prime FPS series. They come up with new game mechanics for each installment of all their franchises and they never fail to deliver.

Naughty Dog: The people at Naughty Dog certainly know how to use the PS3 and crank out gorgeaus visuals, while at the same time creating a game with a fantastic story and gameplay. Cant wait to see if they will bring Jak and Daxter back to PS3 and give it the same treatment they gave Uncharted.

Team ICO: Shadow of the Colossus and ICO are works of art, and The Last Guardian is shaping up to be a fantastic title. Fumito Ueda doesnt pull any punches.

Note: I havent played any of Team ICOs games since I havent had the time, but from all the videos Ive seen, and the reaction from some of my friends who have played them, I have come to admire them.

Honourable Mentions: Zipper, Sucker Punch, Santa Monica Studios and Media Molecule
