it's not just the dx11 version that matters it's how big level is how many polygons that level is how many a.i on screen and physics. crysis warhead is more hardware intensive than bf3 period it also had better graphics.

doesnt run the games on max settings asgood my 1994 pc ran quake 96 lol. my framerates were higher.

hell duke nukem total meltdown on ps1 has a filter to smooth off the pixels. quake 1996 would look badass with just higher polygons alone i dont need all this pixel shader ****

my 1994 pc run quake 96 at 640x480 which was a pretty damn high res for that time on best graphics quake offered

When u turn up the resolution in software mode in quake it actually looks cleaner than the hardware mode. plus nowdays they have **** that can smooth away the pixelation.

quake 1996 looks same on my pc from 1994 as it does in 2012 on my core 2 duo only difference its playable at a higher resolution now.
