@lugpoints Bear in mind, it's not just a case of changing the 3D model to look female in order to have a female lead. All the voiceovers would cost a packet, and much of the written dialog would have to be changed to reflect the female character. And bear in mind, the game is released in several different languages, so they would have to get a female voiceover artist for most of the languages they release in the game in.
The game looked to have so much potential. I sincerely hope they get their ducks in a row and continue to proceed witht the development of the title. There is much potential.
Well, while this is a step in the right direction, I live in a region that will only get the console long after it is released in the initial teritories, so PS4 for me. Sorry MS.
@Dumper1 I would think 10+ hours is acceptable for a shooter. Obviously more is always better, but I'm happy with the overall length of Metro: Last Light. And let's wait until we see the DLC before we start moaning about the cost of the season pass. If the DLC adds many more hours of gameplay (i.e. Borderlands 2 DLC), then I'll have no problem with the cost of the DLC.
@Shakezulah I second this statement. If a game clocks in at less than 6 hours, and then the developers release DLC, I would definitely complain, but 10+ hours is acceptable I would think for a shooter, so they are welcome to release the DLC to flesh out the gameworld. And in all honesty, if the DLC is not fully related to the main storyling, why add it in to the main story and confuse the core concept.
@aloufika Yup. As Dante-xero said, the developers aren't forcing anybody to purchase the DLC, and the game was a decent length for a shooter, so nobody can complain that the DLC should have been included as part of the main game.
