JPL was a former mod so I guess that's worth trusting. If you could post his thread that would be helpful too.

However, the Terms of Service say "The only acceptable method of posting one of these vulgar words is to completely obscure it, making it impossible to determine what the word is without context" so its prolly more at the discretion of the moderator because if you leave a "k" on the end of ****, I can definitely tell what the word is. So who knows. It's just if you guys are serious about trying to avoid moderations I wouldn't take any risks.

as for aljosa's moderation:

"Just because a word is blotted out does not mean it cannot be a violation. If a posting is self-censored but still is in clear violation another rule (i.e. calling someone an obscured racial term, insulting a user with "**** you"), it is still a violation."

Straight from the TOS. So just be careful when you joke around because even if you don't mean it in a vulgar way, it can still be interpreted that way by a mod who doesn't share the same sense of humor.

as for gamr92's moderation, it pretty much falls under the same thing as aljosa's. I checked the Nas Lost thread just now and you told someone to "now please shut the **** up" which I'm guessing is what you got modded for. Nothing was wrong with your link or saying Jay lost.
