Abandoned you when you said crafting is useless. You can make skillbooks, scrolls, and special arrows. On top of that you can reinforce weapons and armor.
Food also is a huge help and offered full stat boosts and even resistance that could make a difference in battle.
You should maybe dive a little deeper in some parts before judging since you obviously think crafting is useless.
“Winterkewl's statement omits much and I would disagree with a number of points, but there's no value in going into detail,” Brindley said in a post to the Yogcast subreddit earlier today."
No value going to into detail? Jeezus these guys are douchebags.
Just make sure to use middle mouse button to change camera angles to click easier and wait at least 2 seconds after every swing before you click again. Won't happen anymore.
Just for everyone who are talking about having issues with the early game and seem to think certain classes are really underpowered or that its too hard, i am going to leave you this build that i came up with.
My main character is themed, i made him into a dragoon style character. He is insanely versatile without spreading his stats thin at all and is a amazing powerhouse. His main stats is Str and Dex.His third stat is Speed with a point into perception every once in a while. He uses Lone Wolf, Leech, and Bully. And whatever i happen to feel benefits him.
He uses man-at-arms, scoundrel, and marksman skills. With this setup he has 3 knockdowns,a stun, a cripple, and a bleed.Never mind his escape. I have him using spear type weapons as his main weapon then i switch to dagger and bow when needed. Dagger gives me access to a stun and a knockdown. Bow gives me access to all my special arrows.
He can inflict EVERY status, use EVERY element, and is just incredible. With haste and his natural AP he has incredible AP and great usage of it. Oh and on top of that i can cure almost anything with two of my marksman skills. Btw switching weapons only cost 2 ap. You can easily switch from spear to bow,use a special arrow, and switch back within the turn. And still have AP left over.
Thanks to only needing one skill level of marksman and 2 of scoundrel, it doesn't mess up his build at all. He sacrifices no damage and has no survival issues. Lone Wolf sees to that.
Just wanted to show an example of what you can do if you set your mind to it. You can make a monster if you think things out.The flexible class customization is just fantastic.
