Didn't even know it was suppose to be out in May. Pity this is just about as far from my style of game as you can get.
If they just had a campaign mode, single player or co-op, I'd probably be happy. I have sweet spot for third person shooters and I did get some enjoyment out of Raccoon City.
Aw. I really didn't want to hear this! I think the negativity might have made me want it to succeed even more! I didn't back it. I've only played a few of the Mega Man X games. I was much more into Mega Man Legends.
The Castlevania and Yooka Laylee games still might turn out great.
I am pleased with quality of the questions put to Peter. Props for that Tamoor and Gamespot. Softballs get us no where. I'm also glad Haunts of Capcom Unity recently made it into the FGC to at least communicate with us.
I love the core gameplay. It's enough for me but the game should not have been released the way it was. I really want things like Arcade mode addressed. The more things put in, the more I can recommend this game to others.
Not expecting much from story mode. Not for a fighting game. I expect it to be entertaining but I'm among the few that like the lore and the gamepaly. Donno why people write it off as "you will only play it once or twice." That's the same with most fighting game stories. Most games if articles like "most gamers don't finish the games they buy" are to be believed.
It would be cool if they had branching paths for different scenes and interactions. Unlikely there is enough time for that now but it's something I would enjoy and seems like it would be among the easier things to pull off.
Hidden bosses is another obvious thing but it's hard to imagine them having the time based on how long it takes Capcom to fix things these days.
@Archangel2222: Gonna have to disagree. The majority of posts on the fgc websites I visit don't feel the game should have been released in the state it was at all. They tell people who aren't into the multiplayer to wait for single player content if it's important to them. While many love the gameplay, there are even a vocal bunch who feel Capcom went to far and that it's too shallow/easy and dumbed down.
@Jimbowesker: They are just changing the Zenny system. That was the system where you have real money turned into a in game currency. You will now just use real money through steam or psn. Fight money is still going to be earn-able in game currency. The only thing it can't buy will be the premium outfits which will be $4 each.
