I think that if Star Trek is to ever be made into a video game, (and it should) it should be made not as an attempt to milk the mainstream entertainment industry, but by a more seasoned and dedicated gaming team.
Also, not into a pure action/story experience, but a more diverse one. a real RPG. not the same as, but similar to how Bioware did Mass Effect. (the crew doesn't even have to be familiar for it to be a good game). having options, like creating your own player, and exploring the galaxy have benefits.
I Love Star Trek, but honestly I have yet to play a good Star Trek game. That is sad because how many of them were made? They all have the same things in common. and MMO's are out of the question. The Star Trek universe is vast and exciting and there's no reason it can't do better than even Mass Effect...which imo got most of their ideas from the Star Trek series. Just need the right people to build it.... into the right Genre.
@xeoneex66 It was a spur of the moment. Sometimes expressing feelings into words does not work the way you intend, if you intend it at all. He's Human just like you.
Interesting. Though I could never finish the first one. the only good game I haven't finished. 11-hrs in and couldn't take another step. and for a grown man...
@Kalmaru @Woodstock504 I appreciate the suggestion. however. Infamous is too repetitive of a game for me. I'm too "hardcore". give me something else. (I'd rather convince Rockstar to go South. GTA is good, ... just kinda bored of the same places)
Fan-tastic! but lets stop going to LA and NY now. uhgg. New Orleans, La. should pose a good challenge. or just somewhere in the south. It's been neglected for too long. imo. in every aspect of entertainment.
@beckerjr @Woodstock504 That my friend, is an over-statement. Lets just say that Snake never needed to traverse ladders, fences, and "small buildings". What is Snake up against and what is Sam up against?
@Vodoo Dude, The only other Stealth Game worthy of mention here is Thief, and maybe, just maybe Tenchu (but that was years ago). Even though Deus Ex was nice, It still doesn't get a spot.
