Man, I have too much free time.

Mood: Bored beyond comprehension.

It's funny what can be created with total boredom and a paint program.

I whipped this little eye sore up on MS Paint in about 15 minutes. Why? 'Cause I really liked the font.

YYYseason2

I know. It's hideous. Boredom makes us do crazy things.

In case you can't read the small print, it says: "Season 2: More Woo Foo than ever before. Coming January '08 only on Jetix! Can U handle it?" and at the top and bottom it just says "Might.Magic.Mayhem." over and over.

Please excuse my total lack of artistic ability.

My first ever show submission!!! ^o^

Kind of old news, but I submitted a show to tv.com about a week ago... and they accepted it!!! ^o^

Sure, it's not gonna get me any points, but it's a first for me, and I think it's pretty cool!

The show is called "The Mr. Men Show", and it's based on the children's book series by Roger Hargreaves. It's animated by Renegade Animation, which also animated "Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi". I liked that show, so this might be pretty interesting to see! (even though I've only seen a few Mr. Men/Little Miss books in my life. I didn't see them a lot growing up. :? ) The bummer is, they're changing the looks of a lot of the characters. I might have to try and overlook that.

It premieres on Cartoon Network US in January, and the UK's Channel Five in Feburary.

Here's the show page.

Not Just Cartoons...NICKTOONS!

Mood: :D

Watching: "FETCH! With Ruff Ruffman"

Reading: "Not Just Cartoons: Nicktoons!" by Jerry Beck

Let me tell you, I am one happy girl right now!

Here's why I'm so happy: I ordered a book called "Not Just Cartoons: Nicktoons!", which is about all of the Nicktoons that have ever been on Nickelodeon, ever! (It even has some shows that aren't on Nick yet!) It just came in today! I was so happy to get it! I've already read some of it, and it's really interesting so far. It's got storyboards, character designs, backgrounds, and more! Not to mention, it came just in time for Nick's "Superstuffed Nicktoons Weekend"! (Yay!)

If you're a huge Nicktoon fan, then I absolutley guarantee that you would love this book! It's a must have for a Nicktoon lover of any generation, especially if you love the classics! (Plus, it's got a cool squishy cover! What's not to like?)

Here's where you can get it online!

Lyrics: 'Where is Your Heart At?' and 'Give Me the Simple Life' - Jamie Cullum

These songs from "Meet the Robinsons" have been stuck in my head for the past few days. They're really catchy and have a nice jazzy beat to them. If you've never heard them before, I recommend that you listen to them sometime. I think you'd like them! ;)

Where is Your Heart At? - Jamie Cullum

You asked me over,
and over, and over:
"Have you seen my peacock feathered hat?"
If it was under
a four leaf clover
I'd be on the lawn looking for that.

Where is your heart at?
Nobody knows that
even though you've him, her, me
and an army searching.
I've got a feeling
you will be reeling
when you are bad and the circus comes to town
and you see me leaving dressed up as a magician or something like that.

(instrumental break)

Your satin flip-flops
are hidden in the
pockets of yor velvet dressing gown.
Your diamond cufflinks
are hidden in the
ruffles of your silk white shirt for town.

Where is your heart at?
Nobody knows that
even though you've him, her, me
and an army searching.
I've got a feeling
you will be reeling
when you are bad and the circus comes to town
and you see me leaving dressed up as a magician or something like that.

Give Me the Simple Life - Jamie Cullum

(one...two...a-one, two, three, four...)

I don't believe in frettin' or grievin'.
Why mess around with strife?
Guess I was cut out
To step out and strut out.
Give me the simple life.

It must be pleasant dining on pheasant
using the proper knife.
I want tomatoes
and mashed potatoes.
Give me the simple life.

A cottage small is all I'm after,
not one that's spacious and wide.
A house that rings with joy and laughter
with the ones that you love inside.

You take the high road, I'll take the low road
free from all care and strife.
Sounds corny and seedy,
but, oh, yes indeed-y,
Give me the simple life.

(instumental break)

A cottage small is all I'm after,
not one that's spacious and wide.
A house that rings with joy and laughter
with the ones that you love inside.

You take the high road, I'll take the low road
free from all care and strife.
Sounds corny and seedy,

A Christams Card for my Birthday! XD

You heard me right! My parents gave me a Christmas card instead of a Birthday card for my 16th Birthday! But, there's a reason for it. It's a talking card with Hoops&Yoyo on it (I mentioned them in an older post) and I thought it was the cutest thing ever!

Anyway, here are some of the other things I got:

-A "Foster's" 2008 calendar

-A Bloo wristband

-"I Love Bloo" Body Spray (I kid you not!)

-"Meet the Robinsons" DVD

-"Ratatouille" DVD

-"Ratatouille" Hallmark Christmas ornament

-"Tokyo Mew Mew" Manga #1

-Some makeup, A foldable hairbrush and a "High School Musical" emery board

-A Yin/Yang (not "Yin Yang Yo!") bookmark

-A locket

-A bouquet of pink roses

-16 lottery tickets

-...and a total of $121 in both cash and checks

So, yeah. I'd say I had a pretty good 16th! :)

PS: MissJellyMaster, in case you didn't see my comment in my other post, I'm not ToraYakari. I'm not even a DA member. (Although I do like to go look at fan art there.) Sorry for any confusion.

Sweet Sixteen at Last!!!

Hi everyone! I don't have a lot of time to talk, but I just wanted to announce that today is my 16th birthday! However, I'm not going to be having a big "Sweet Sixteen" party, (and no, I'm not getting a car.) just a small party with some family. But, hey! That's still fun, right?

Whoops, look at the time! I've gotta get ready for school! I'll probably write again later, though.

Woof out! ;)

I think I was stalked today... O_o

Mood: Glad to be home! *phew*

Watching: Pucca

Just got home, and man, did I ever have a creepy experience! :?

See, after church my mom, my sister and I were in WalMart. I was just off by myself, checking out the car stereos, when all of a sudden I see this suspicious looking guy just standing there, staring at me, and giving me this creepy smile. I just looked away at first, but then I looked back, and the guy was walking toward me slowly, and this other shifty looking guy was walking right beside him. I tried not to let them know I suspected anything, and quickly walked away. I had gotten pretty far away, but these guys were still following me from far behind. So I had caught up with my mom, who was looking through the movies, and surely enough, I saw them again. Luckily, after that, I didn't see them again, and I made it out of the store safely. But, man! I was so scared! I've never had anyhing like that happen to me before!

Right now, I'm just happy to be home, safe and sound. But I still can't help but think that those guys were trying to stalk me.

Happy Halloween, Everyone!

witch

Hey people!

Halloween is just a day away! What will you be going as? (That is, if you're wearing a costume.) I'm going as a doctor. I'll be wearing real scrubs and gear, and I have a real stethescope, so I think it's gonna be a pretty good costume.

Here's wishing you all a happy and safe Halloween! ;)

Help! Help! I think I'm starting to like a PBS Kids show! OoO *dun dun dunnnn*

Mood: Kinda freaked out.

Watching: Ren and Stimpy

So, yesterday (well, it's midnight, so it was technically 2 days ago) my little nephews and neice who are visiting from Louisiana left the TV in my kitchen on our local PBS. As I was passing through the room, I caught a glimpse of the show that was on. It featured real kids, as well as a cartoon dog. The show is called "Fetch! With Ruff Ruffman", and it's sort of a reality show for kids. I just sat down to watch an episode today (technically yesterday), to see what it was like. (I don't usually like Reality TV. ) In this episode, the kids are sent by Ruff, the dog, to learn to cook in a kitchen by professional chefs and make him a meal when his owner brings him a doggie bag with nothing but a single dinner roll. It was cool to watch the challenges that the kids had to complete (especially when they had to eat odd foods! lol), and Ruff was a very fun character. And it's not the typical "ABC's, Learn to count, Storytime, etc" PBS Kid's show. It's targeted more towards tweens, and has quite a bit of humor to it. I enjoyed the show so much, I might even tune in again tomorrow. (technically... do I even need to say it?)

However, I'm 15 (16 in November) years old for cryin' out loud!!! I'm just a teensy bit old to still be watching PBS, aren't I? Please tell me, AM I OUT OF MY MIND!?!?!?

*pulls herself together* Sorry, lost the happy. But the happy's back!:D

I'm just a bit worried. Sometimes I feel like I haven't grown up, and I feel guilty for watching the shows I love. I wouldn't want to change who I am, but I don't want to look stupid, either.

I hope no one here thinks I'm weird. :(

Yours Truly, Ruff-- er, I mean Woof91;)
