get an original ds the ds lites get worn out to easy now my down button is starting to not work and ive only had it for 9 months and never droped it once

My up button and R button are slowly not working and stuff.... :( ive had my ds for 9 months now and i buy games that are easy on the controls like pokemon and awds. Ds lites suck and im sad now, i don't wanna sell it but soon the buttons arnt even going to work what should I do? is there anyway to fix the buttons ? waaaaah :(

Btw I take good care of my things I don't even let other ppl play my ds
