Maybe it's an alternate reality of OoT, created by time traveling. And what is the first Zelda game chronologically? Good question. I've heard that the order is AlttP, LA, OoT, MM, LoZ, AoL, and then WW. i forgot where I saw this , as it was a while ago. If anyone knows what I'm talking about, please post.
If you have ever beaten OoT you know that you are returned to kid link in the ending credits. My theory is that the new one will take place after that kid link grows up since he technically didn't destry gannon because he went back in time. lolSizzletop

Hey everyone, this is THE thread to discuss timeline theories. Post what you think on how the all the LoZ games link together, and how the '05 Zelda title will fit into the whole timeline. Let's get this ball rollin' people!
I believe all Zelda games come in pairs: LoZ and AoL had the same Link.The same goes for LA & AlttP and OoT & MM. So the new '05 Zelda will probably have the same Link from WW, but he has (obviously) grown up. But I don't know what order the pairs come in, and it doesn't make a lot of sense if Ganondorf is in the new '05 Zelda. It looked like Link pretty much killed him this time. Having a sword rammed through your head will do that :) . Thoughts?
