[QUOTE="X-traflo"][QUOTE="czecahgangster44"] MAC is basically a fadCellAnimationInteresting comment since the Mac has been around since 1984. That's 1 LONG LONG LONG Fad! Been around and being better are quite different my friend. Compare Chevrolet and Toyota - there ya go.

Hey all - why do u think he'll be able to run Crysis better with a 1gb card as opposed to a 512mb?? Tell u the answer, he wont. Having a full gig of video vs. 512 won't make a bit of difference when running Crysis or any other Game. If he had dual cards - then yes, he will have some improvement, but by about 30 to 50% more/max!
And his CPU wont do didly with that score. Overall scoring on 3Dscore is Graphics card intensive. If he's running a 64 bit OS then the scoring changes - not to mention that 3Dmark scores are useless when compared to actual FPS during real game play. Bottom line / the 4850 is a good card - u overpaid for the 1gig version for no real performance increase though. Nadda - zip. U'll play Crysis @ medium @ 1400x900 and NO AA.
P.S. also props for not getting a Mac. My sister and friends all have fallen to the white shiny tablets, so this makes me feel better

Just had to back u up about Mac.. Ur right, no reason to pay double the price for software. Thats what folks are doing when they buy a MAC. Its all IBM parts inside, and u pay outlandish prices for them. Only thing u get thats different is the OS.
And for some reason, non-understanding people don't seem to get this>they complain about paying for MS-OS but they will shell out twice as much for OSX. Might as well download free Linux. AAHHH!! I could babble on. Anyways, u get the idea.
MAC is basically a fad - like the Ipod.
Of course - Most of u should have atleast a PC in ur home right?? Overall better experience for COD5 / although, if ur PC isnt any sort of decent gamer - then yeah, this should be a must have for ur Wii. It certainly knocks out Mario Galaxy and Wii sports.
Would hate trying to think i had to swing the darn controls around though - classic style controls would be the only way to go...
