First of all, let me appologize for being late on this one.....

Okay, so just recently i got a nice gaming PC, and I just beat Crysis tonight. So I looked up if there was gonna be a Crysis 2. And yay! There is....but it's coming to PS3 and Xbox 360.

So this upset for a few reasons....one, cause the reason Crysis was never ported to consoles was because they couldn't handle it. So that means that Crysis 2 is going to perform less and have lower resolutions. And second, I already have a PS3, 360 and Wii, and I just got my PC for great exclusive games like this. Sooo it kinda seems like a buzzkill that one of the few PC exclusive games is going to consoles.....

Anyone else upset by this?

You have it in the graphics options, under video mode (resolution) anti-alising quality and fullscreen. Well in Warhead, but it should be the same with Crysis (I have it installed but I'm too lazy to go look for the disc :( but I will if you still have problems finding it).

Are you certain your LCD has a native past 60? Newegg often has inaccurate information about specific specs. What does the book that came with it say?

The sheet I got says that the complete optimal frequency is 60 hertz. I was able to get it up to 75 Hz, but I compromised the resolution from 1080p. It's frusterating, 'cause when I looked online, I looked for the fastest refresh rate, and this was one of the lowest with 2 milliseconds. So what should I do?

You can't do anything your LCD, any LCD has limitations, you'll have to reduce the resolution for higher refresh rates. Also try to use vsync if you didn't activate it, it reduces the "flickering".

how do you toggle the vsync?

Hey, I've been having some trouble with flickering on my monitor when playing games. Typically it only happens during cutscenes, but it's still pretty annoying.

I looked up online, and everywhere says that to eliminate or reduce flicker, increase your display's refresh rate to at least 75 hertz. But when I tried to do that, the maximum I could have it at was 60 hertz, and it's still flickering.

What's the problem? Is it my computer? The monitor? Or [hopefully] a software/driver issue?

Thanks!

btw, this is the monitor i have:

I just got my new PC today and I ran Crysis on it. I can run it fine on Very High settings, but there's a sort of flickering when i look up very fast. It's really not that big of a deal, but I'd still wanna fix it.

I don't think it's a problem with my PC not being able to handle it, because it does the same thing on even the Low settings.

If anyone has any advice, please let me know.

Thanks!

I already have the Orange Box for Xbox, so Team Fortress I'll pass on. But I'll look into Counterstrike and Guild Wars. Thanks!

Hey all. I just got a pretty good gaming PC, and I'm looking for good PC exclusive games to play. I already own a PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii, so I'm looking for titles that are either great exclusives or substantially better on the PC (I know most, if not all games are better played on the PC).

Thanks for any help!
