haha this case looks really good, they may be responsible for disappointing a lot of people when the actual console comes out (in terms of aesthetics). Very sleek.

Yes there is. If Avalanche Studios make it. Open world, you can play as a smuggler, bounty hunter, Jedi, Sith... Whatever... IDK... Maybe I can't even think about something that awesome...

I would have total confidence in their ability to make any open world game awesome, especially Star Wars. Just Cause 2 is one of the best games ever imo.

@Daemoroth I agree, it's almost a contradiction to identify these distinctions of gender and race etc. I don't actually believe in racism or sexism, I just think there are stupid people who are insecure and choose to see these differences as a result of a lack of intelligence.

There doesn't need to be a documentary made, let alone crowd sourcing for funds (which in my mind indicates a lack of passion to do so on your accord). I would simply say a lot of young and frustrated teens who consume too many energy drinks are able to project their misguided thoughts more effectively via recent technological developments in rapid communications, that we probably aren't spiritually developed enough to handle maturely. Whether it be gaming or social network etc, the forum in which these problems occur is mostly irrelevant.

Of course I'm not dismissing the serious issue of abuse that occurs through these channels, but the theme for this project seems to be a little specific and short sighted, which always looks to lay blame on the format in which these problems occur, rather than the root issue which I would say stems from social conditioning and lack of values being taught to the young. I wouldn't fund something like this because it might just miss the point and real issues at hand.

@hadlee73 @XNEXUS666X I remember when the Gamecube was at the top of the league, it's really just MS and Sony battling it out now. I appreciate what they did with the Wii, I even considered buying one once, but I think releasing a newer console with a similar name and different controller just leaves people feeling like they're being tricked with gimmicks. They could have given it a more tougher name at least.

What does the 'U' mean anyway? It just sounds like they got carried away with inspiration from Apples 'i' products, so everyone feels like the products were made just for them. Wii, U, i... Mi... Arrrgghhhhh! I'm making myself angry!

The fundamental problem is that game studios, at the end of the day are businesses, and a business is there to make money, unfortunately mindless games like COD have set the standard for successful sales. Now every money-hungry pig publisher wants to transform every game into a run and gun spuzz fest to chase that COD dollar, so we lose awesome games like Splinter Cell because mindless morons and adolescent kids have contributed to high sales in games with no substance, which dictates the market trend. Splinter Cell could be as awesome as it used to be and make more money than if they implement a watered down COD element to it, but these greedy idiots are too stupid and just think they can make the next MW beater, which ends up falling flat. So every game is now infected with some degree of COD and they wonder why sales suck.

As much as I like FPS games, I think this would be better as a third person shooter, especially if there's character customization. But that's just me...
