Downsize or downgraded to be played on consoles (especially for xbox360). Seems like all the fps games we get lately, especially multiplayer shooters are lowered graphics and minimized online player slots to fit in console. PC can easily handle 64vs64 epic battles and many more. I want a PC Fps title that takes advantage of PC resources to push the limits (like Crysis). I am ready to pay more then retail price for a game like this for it to come out PC exclusive...

Any of Valve's FPS. They were made with PC in mind. But they're old, so they might not meet your graphical expectations.

CoH was fine but when the expansions come out, the balance is disrupted.

I'm new to CoH, can you point out the imbalance?

I don't know. In US, that's hardly a deal. But how much do games usually sell for in Australia?

biggest_loser

A full price game is anywhere between $79-$100 (au)

Holy crap, that's expensive. Then I'd say the deal is great.

There are soooooooooo many good PC games, I couldn't find a single best PC game. For me, the best games are:

Team Fortress 2: Chaotic, cl@ss diversity, great community, many multiplayer modes, fun all-around, the ability to use "skins", Valve.

Counter-Strike Source: Not a fast-paced shooter, the ability to use "skins", great community, intense, super huge variety of maps, Valve.

Company of Heroes (and expansions): Fast-paced strategy game, great difference between factions, multiplayer is actually alive, British are awesome, WWII, was on sale for $2 - $12 on Steam.

Mass Effect (original): Third person shooter with many RPG elements, beautiful graphics, Shepard (default male) looks very detailed, awesome voice acting, great story, 1 free DLC for PC version, was on sale for $5 on Steam.

These games below would really be on my top games list should I have the money to buy it (based on demos and/or gameplay footage):
Mass Effect 2, Assassin's Creed II, Darksiders, The Last Remnant.

@above guy: Yeah Big Rigs owns. YOU'RE WINNER.

What I've tried:

-Black Magic Woldu

There's your problem. Black Magic harms your computer. White Magic heals your computer.

...

...

Sorry, couldn't find a solution to your problem :P

British with Royal Engineers support. There's nothing better than camping the hell out of those Victory Points in a classic 1v1 match and see them using tons and tons of airstrikes just to have my horde of sappers repair the building again. Brits are also super fun in skirmish (vs. CPU) matches, as long as you have American allies.

I'm fine with anything. In fact I still don't have enough time to play all the games I've purchased since 2008 and not enough money to buy all the awesome new games (Darksiders, Arkham Asylum, Mass Effect 2) that recently came out.

So, the Serious Sam HD pack (HD first encounter and second encounter) is only $7.5 on Steam now. Are the games worth it? I've heard bad things about the first encounter, so is the 2nd encounter any better? I'm not really into games that pit you against hordes of monsters (it's just the $7 price that looks so appealing), and I want some multiplayer actions (heard the MP isn't really active). Is it still worth $7? Or even $4 (since I'm thinking of buying the 2nd game only)
