Couldn't resist.:D But what kind of games are you into...FPS, RTS, RPG? I've always had problems with my laptop and gaming. Which is why I'm upgrading to a desktop, with the help of this board. Just want to say the people on this site are great when it comes to helping with questions. Learned more here than anywhere else. But anyway back to TC question.

Thats great man, but you seem to be missing a point to my post...I dont have a 3D tv and thats what I'm hooking my rig up to.

I'm not really "on board" when it comes to 3D anyway. I want to give the tech time to evolve. Plus I'm hooking my rig up to a HDTV that is not 3D.

So go with the i7 930? My price range comes from me going to ibuypower and building one on their site. But I'm gonna go ahead and build myself. I hear its not that hard.

What about cooling? And I shouldn't go with 6 gigs of ram? I know I don't need it right now, but down the road...

The 4k came from me putting a rig together at cyberpower, and ibuypower. Every time it would hit 4k w/o monitor. I already said I'm not a 100% on what I'm doing, but I'm trying. Plus I think I am gonna go with building myself anyway so I'm sure I wont hit the 4k range. Then again...I think I'll make it float!!!:D
