Pretty sure the high demand was to play as Ciri fully, complete with her own customizations and couple added quest for her, while side quest are for either her or Gerald to complete.

@Tangsta03: It's to show some gamers the reality of gaming business. There have many games in development, whether it's concept phase, (ex. Mortal Kombat 8), the beginning (ex. Castlevania Dreamcast), or even completion (ex. Fear Effect 3) yet never released due to funds, no publisher, or bankruptcy for instance. Even games like Battlefront 3, near complete, was cancelled however the reason from Lunas arts was never known. You can view the beta on YouTube to see why some older fans were not so happy with EA's take on Battlefront. However, some that do release are also victims to missing contents. Metal Gear Solid V The Phantom Pain is a recent prime example despite being a great game, however there are also many others as well before it such as The Wind Waker, Shadow of the Colossus, Knights of the Old Republic 2 and even Final Fantasy 6.

@JW2252: I, too, have to agree. Granted, the idea does sound like a good concept, however upon re-reading it and visualizing especially looking at the concept art to get a better idea, it does sounded more like a mod or a new Elder Scroll game without the FFXII characters names of course.

@BlackScythe0: Of course you have no clue: You're clueless. Like XII, FF4, 5, 6 and 9 are one of the best Final Fantasy games ever made. Even 7, 8 and 10 are great, too. I mean I respect those that dislike them, but calling them atrocity is like comparing FFXII to E.T. The Video Game. At least just say something "XII is a miss for me and it's not really for me" or anything related. Something like that shows more maturity toward your dislike than bashing it to extinction. I understand XII is not for everybody and I also know why some dislike it, but it's nowhere remotely near a bad game at all.

@Zorlac: Indeed. Not disagreeing though. I don't mind if Castlevania goes to Sony only, too. Symphony of the Night on the PSX and the 3 Castlevania DS games were awesome and still are, though I am more fond to the Sony version. I have not had the chance to try the Sega Saturn version though.

The 1999 one I was actually referring to the one from Arial of Sorrow and Dawn of Sorrow. Those two had mentioned about some sort of a final confrontation against Dracula in 1999 which probably caused Julius Belmont amnesia. Hopefully someone can correct this.

@Thanatos2k: Sell Metal Gear to Sony, Castlevania to Nintendo, and Silent Hill to Microsoft. Unfair, but at least the consoles has their great games for those systems. Suikoden could also go to Sony, unless a third party acquires it. Maybe Tecmo or Xseed?

@Zorlac: Nintendo actually knows how to make great games. They might even bring back the 2D style and continue the original saga especially the elusive 1999 scenario.
