mine doesn't make any sound what so ever so i'm not sure why it does that ... perhaps a faulty fan or something but it could just be something little, i would call sony anyway to see if it could be something... never hurts to find out before it does turn into something big....

understandable, but they are so light it really isnt that big of a deal. I had a tv up there for 2 years before the new one. But I def. see where you are coming from, too much money to fall off a wall.
