Nah, buy both. Even if the new one comes out, it's not going to be the same. I remember reading that some of the characters in Melee wont be in Brawl. Also, it easier to get 4 GC controllers together than 4 Wiimotes + whatever they are going to use [nunchuck or classic].DarkKefkai don't think this guy knows what he's talkin about, i wouldn't trust those statements without sources (nintendo has made it all but obvious you can play the new smash brothers with the gamecube controller). that said, melee is amazing, you should get it, its not that expensive.

Pokemon + Online = Garbage. If you play online their are only people with lvl 100 pokemon. So.......lite_ds
The randomly matched online battles are level capped.
We are sure about it >.>
you can battle random ppl in PBR, but you can only use 3 of your pokemon for 1v1 matches, or 4 for doubles matches, and the pokemon are capped at lvl 50 (so random ppl with 3x lv100 legendaries don't clean up every time) as opposed to friend coded battles, where there are no limitations.
The serious Pokemon fans are 15+, I'm 23 and into it still. They're great games, I won't ignore that just because kids like them too. Don't be so close-minded.
And once the online play starts, 3rd Parties will be able to go online with their games, so not ONLY pokemon fans will benefit from that.
Overall, stop your complaining and don't expect the stuff you get from a system 3 years into its life from the Wii just yet.
