Rent. It's extremly repetitive and has a bad story.Lemmywinks_360

Bad story? From a Halo fan? lol.

The story is the best part of the game, but the missions can get repetitive. I beat it earlier today, and hope they fix the little flaws for the next one, so I have even more fun getting to hear the story.

9.75 form GI, 9.2 from EGM

The only source where its gotten below a 9 is Hardcore Gamer, which reviewed the game as a shooter, and not as a RPG.

And oh yeah, it looks awesome and its made by Bioware, arguably best RPG devs around.

After SE perhaps.

And i know you said arguably :)

I argue SE is now the 5th best RPG developer. Bioware, Level5, Atlus, Bethesda, then SE. They mostly just do remakes now anyway.

And I argue that you're wrong! *Argument goes on forever lol:roll:*. At least we get to play great games from each of the devs anyway :)

I stand corrected. 4th best, Atlus is a publisher, I always forget that.

Usually the negative reviews don't come out til the game does, companies lift embargoes if they know the score is good (notice IGN's has been up for a while).

So don't expect a glowing review.

I haven't been wow'd like I was when looking down from the highest points in Acre for quite a long time. Truly magnificent, especially considering you can actually traverse all the area you see. Best city in the game btw.

JRPGs have stayed the same, while WRPGs have become more ambitious. I used to only play SNES/PS1 JRPGs, but they really aren't very fun for me now.

OK, I got AC yesterday, and I've probably played around 6-7 hours as of now. The game has some really great ideas and elements, but it's unfortunate that the game is a bit repeptitive and confusing (in terms of the storyline). The cutscenes are boring, and unneccisarily long as well. And, the game moves sllowwwllyyy. It's super slow at the beginning, so I was hoping that it would speed up a bit as the game progressed, but no--it's still moving at that utterly slow pace. The game has potential, but it just didn't exactly use it in the right way. Does anyone agree with me?biggamerhk

I can understand the cmplaint about it being repetitive, because you're doing a *job* and jobs do get that way.

The cutscenes are amazing, and the storyline I find very intriguing and impressive, not sure why anyone wouldn't.
