... No. This is how I see the GOTY pool:
Mass Effect
Haze
Unreal Tournament 3
The Orange Box
Super mario Galaxy
Uncharted: Drake's Fortune
Bioshock
Assassin's CreedNot-A-Stalker
Strike UT3, Uncharted, and Orange Box. Got a hunch.
Good thread, I think
Sony, you have pissed me off really bad, with all the lies, faulty PS2's, and broken promises, but here's 5 things I like about your new system
1. Large Storage medium. Hasn't really been used yet, but someday maybe.
2. Free online, can't argue with that.
3. The shiny black is kinda neat, even if the system is way too big, and heats up a room.
4. I think you have a nice future, in second place behind the Wii.
5. So far I haven't heard much about you breaking down like PS2's, but we'll see...
[QUOTE="Xerlaoth"][QUOTE="JLAudio7"]ThoughI do agree games like Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess are great games, the System Wars requirements for flopping is not meeting the expected hype. Twilight Princess was hyped AAA (9.0 or above) on GameSpot, but only scored AA (8.8) on GameSpot. It doesn't matter (according to SW) that it scored AAA on other game sites or even overall on other sites like MetaCritic and GameRankings.DXGreat1_HGL
Who determines what a game is "hyped"?
God, I hate this hyped and AA A AAA BS.
It pretty much goes all the way back to last gen, when just about any Xbox game that scored below 9.0 was quantified as a flop and snowballed during Super mario sunshine. It is a horse that has bean beaten to death, brought back to life and beaten to death again over and over...
Yeah, I hear that... I wish people would pay more attention to the words of reviews. for example... Mario Strikers Charged review, today. 7.5. ZOMG TEH FLOPZ
But what do people look for often in games? great fun multiplayer. last line of MS:C review: "Those looking for a deep and consistently entertaining single-player experience won't necessarily find it here, but anyone out for some good, solid multiplayer fun, either offline or online, would do well to check out Mario Strikers Charged"
now i don't like GS reviews, but this is a statement that, probably 85-90% of wii owners would want to buy this game, and yet here it is MEGA FLAOP.
