Just because you don't see 'em doesn't mean it doesn't happen.

I've never seen a PSP in public, and I've seen a DS three times.

I know one person who owns a Wii besides me, and nobody that owns a 360.

NobuoMusicMaker

Bwahaha everytime I see someone play the DS, I whip out my PSP and play it on loud!

I'm shocked the PSP could load anything before the person with the DS walked by

Your personal aquaintences have NOTHING to do with what is actually happening.

10 people? Yeah that's a servey size. /sarcasmSvarthek

For that matter, neither does gamespot.

The only one you probably wouldn't like is Dynasty Warriors...

Koei - Dynasty Warriors 6
NamcoBandai - New IP Nobinobi Boy (Successor to Katamari)
Sega - New IP Valkyrie of the Battlefield
Nippon Ichi - Disgaea 3

And Sega has one more mystery title where he said "My Yakuza outfit is a hint." Speculations point to Shenmue 3.

Nah then, don't see any of those as system seller type stuff that would drive developer support. On a side note, Dynasty Warriors lol

Funny how New IPs aren't system sellers when they haven't even gotten the chance.

Was Katamari a big seller? I mean those are probably all fine games, cept DW6, but its just not stuff that's gonna inspire people to spend 600 bux on the system.

the ps3 is gonna get "supported" for a long time, prolly with cruddy/few games, but we ***HARDCORE OMG LOL*** gamers here at gamespot (/sarcasm) are gonna abandon it by 2012 for the PS4.

I'm not familiar with the announcements you mentioned. If they're cool games, that is a possibility lol

Development support stems from sales numbers, so selling early on is important.

That said, I will probably pick PS3 over 360, sometime in 2008.

NobuoMusicMaker

Doesn't explain the recent amount of support for the PS3. What was it... 3-4 major announcements at Playstation Premiere by seperate companies?

"Amount of support" meaning what exactly? If you mean being mentioned in dumb system wars, kinda silly.
