Hmm not good to hear, I have the Steam version as well and haven't had any problems so far.

I played back when it first came out for amonth or two, I enjoyed it up until I left that first introduction area/town. I have read positive reviews for the expansion, I may have to try it again.
No Overlord and Katsumi are both extra - I have them both so I'm sure. The Cerberus network does give you access to some free armor and weapon packs, etc.
[QUOTE="Xian83"]The Old Republic is actually the most expensive game ever. It will take a long time and many subscriptions for it to be more profitable than Knights of the Old Republic 3 would have been even if it turns out to be fantastic.Didn't realize folks were so upset over this issue. I am sad that there isn't a 360 Knights of the Old Republic being worked on but it's understandable that a veteran developer like BioWare would take their Star Wars license and shoot for something that can potentially make way more money. Even if the game is half as popular as WoW it will make far more money than a standard console game ever would - maybe it's partially EA's influence.

Yep I did read they estimated a $100 million development cost but let's think, WoW conservatively has 10 million people x $15 bucks a month = you just paid for the whole development of The Old Republic in one month. Sure you have to consider it cost money to run the servers and pay the support staff but after a couple months you are golden.
I think it's a well made game that is fun to play, I just get sick of how twitch the multiplayer is. I know it's more realistic to die after a couple shots but far too often I spawn and get killed from behind before I geta chance to even see an enemy player. A game where my average lifespan is under 30 seconds is too much waiting to respawn and not enough fun.
I love Mass Effect 2 but I'd like to see quests that more directly involve doing something about the Reaper threat. I understand that ME2 was about building up your team but it sometimes felt like the progression on the actual main quest was too few and far between. You'd spend 10 hours recruiting team members and doing side quests and then get a quick 45 minute quest relating to the main story.
Also, what do quarians look like? What do the Turian and Asari homeworlds look like? Plenty of plot questions left fo them to fill in.

Think somebody actually agreed with me above but I think GTA 4 is pretty mediocre. All the reviews I see are perfect 10s when the graphics are sub-par, the controls are awful and the story can't keep me interested enough to even make it halfway through.
Also- MW2 multiplayer is terrible.
For consoles I am not interested in any digital distribution of games. I have never bought a game on demand from Xbox Live and I doubt I ever will. On the PC side I used to feel the same but Steam sure is handy, I've gotten a few games on Steam recently and I admit it is nice. I think we'll have both options around for quite awhile and so people on both sides will be satisifed.
Mass Effect 2 for me, easy winner.
