If "specs don't matter" than can Mr. Penello explain why a HD 7970 runs games better (in terms of FPS and even looks better because of higher AA) than my HD 6970?
@devski I have my PC hooked up to 50" screen and have a windows Xbox 360 controller from my coutch. So, your talk about playing from the desk is a myth.
Also, I play all my games FULL HD 1080P taking FULL advantage of the resolution that my 50" screen provides, where as PS3 and Xbox 360 can only play at 720P in some cases they can even pull that like with Crysis 2 which doesn't even run at 720P HD resolution.
@drgribb Agree. I too liked DNF mostly because it was the last hurrah of the 90's type shooter and also because I was waiting 14 years for this game to come out even since I was a kid. 3D Realms should be glad that Gearbox saved their a$$es and brought DNF to market. Duke Nukem 3D was probably the game I spent the most time in back in the 90's.
I am also glad that the Duke Nukem franchise is out of the hands of 3DR or else would have to wait ANOTHER 14 years for the next Duke game. LOL.
What are you smoking. Crytek they themselves stated that Crysis sold 3 million copies and 1.5 million copies on the PC as of May 2010. They presented that in one of their slides when they were pitching their new engine. So SalaDin is right.
Looks great. Really liked re-make Criterion's remake of the legendary Hot Pursuit. Most Wanted is the best Need For Speed game to come out in the last 7 years. So I am willing to see Criterion's take on Most Wanted.
Another consolized COD style gameplay....sigh. What has happened to you Crytek you made awesome open world games with stunning revolutionary graphics like Far Cry, Crysis 1 and Crysis Warhead. This is another boring ass Crysis 2...
